Earl Goodwin, Jr.

Earl Goodwin, Jr., 84 of Lamberts Run, Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the United Hospital Center. He was born September 15, 1935 in Clarksburg, the son of the late Earl Goodwin Sr. and Wonnetta Bee Goodwin.

Earl retired from the General Laborers Local 984. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and watching the deer.

Earl is survived by the love of his life, Helen Goodwin; four sons, Jack Goodwin and Tonra, Haywood, Scott Goodwin and Julie, Catawba, NC, Mike Goodwin, Mansfield, OH, Richard Goodwin and Debbie, Gypsy; one brother, Dale Goodwin and wife Shirley; two sisters, Vesta Strother and Darlene Farrell; ten grandchildren, Kelli, Dustin, Jackie, Hunter, Josh, Maria, Mikie, Alyssa, Casey and Eli; four step grandchildren, Karisa, Alyssa, Samantha and baby Rayce; three brother in laws, Joe, Gene and Chuck; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by one daughter, Theda; one son, Steven; two sisters, Gay and Shirley.

Per Earl’s wishes he will be cremated. There is no visitation at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
