Duane Kenneth Babcock

Duane Kenneth Babcock, 50, of Gypsy, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at United Hospital Center.  He was born on September 1, 1974 in Hornell, NY, the son of Kenneth Benjamin and Naomi Beth Glasgow Babcock of Brooksville, FL.

Duane is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tina Marie Kaufmann Babcock, whom he married on August 24, 2002.

In addition to his wife, Duane is survived three Children, Brittany Jaros and spouse Maxwell of Fairmont, Cody Sallot of Erie, PA, and Christopher Sallot of Erie, PA; two granddaughters, Magnolia and Cecelia; siblings, Ruth Milks and spouse Daniel of Westfield, NY, Joy Hoover and spouse Kenneth of  Perkiomenville, PA, Mary Bradley and spouse Daniel of North Syracuse, NY, and Jason Babcock and spouse Rachel of Niagara Falls, NY.

Duane graduated in Ripley, NY, Class of 1993 and has a degree in electronic repairs. He was an auto mechanic for Greg’s Auto Service in Erie, Pa for 15 years. He loved classic cars, especially the 1975 White Chevy Chevelle Malibu, he also enjoyed building model cars. He was a YouTuber making “How to fix car videos” with thousands of followers. He enjoyed Legos, Star Trek, and going on family vacations.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 5:00PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00PM with Reverend Daniel Bradley officiating.
