Douglas "Doug" Leroy Winters

Douglas “Doug” Leroy Winters, 60, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Doug was born December 6, 1960 in Clarksburg, son of the late Denver Leroy and Josephine Betty Ryan Winters.

Doug graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1980. He served his country in the United States Marines. He was a plumber for many years. He collected anything and everything he could. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

Doug is survived by three children, Marisa Ann Williams, Charleston, WV, Isaiah “Seth” Winters and Haley, Clarksburg, Denver Chase Winters, Galloway; six grandchildren, Noel, Kinlei, Lincoln, Layna, Layton and Lexton; four siblings, Patty Winters, Jennifer Winters, Tammy Woodson and Richard, all of Clarksburg, Michael Mick and Lori, Fairview; special niece, Hannah Woodson; several nieces, nephews and cousins, his four legged companion, Sammy.

In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by two siblings, Denver Lee Winters, Crystal Dawn Jackson.

Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Winters family. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00AM at the WV National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and the United State Marines Honor Guard.
