On June 2, 2020, Dorsey “Jerry” McFadden of Clarksburg, WV passed away at his home, with his wife of twenty five years, Dr. Seetha Ginjupalli by his side. Jerry was born July 23rd, 1938. Jerry and Seetha are residents of Clarksburg. He is survived by the Dawson family and his extended family, the Gavinis’.
Jerry was born in McWhorter, WV and spent his childhood growing up in Ohio. Jerry graduated high school, then joined the US Navy. After serving the Navy he returned to West Virginia, and worked his entire career in the Automotive and Trucking business. He got his start at the International Garage in Jane Lew. During next several years, Jerry moved on to work at Simpson Motors, Chenoweth Ford and finally at Harry Green Chevrolet, where he became Chevy Truck manager in March 1989, and continued until his retirement in October 2005. After retiring Jerry volunteered for several years at United Hospital Center.
Jerry loved Golf, played in some of the best Courses in the country and International Courses in every country they visited. As soon as Jerry and Seetha were married, Seetha learned to play Golf to be part of the joy of his life. Such is their love and dedication for each other. His other hobbies were fishing, hunting and gardening.
Jerry and Seetha enjoyed traveling to different parts of the world and loved sharing those memories with their numerous friends. Jerry never knew a stranger and could get along with every one with his good nature, his friendliness and his wit. Jerry will be missed by many people whose lives he touched.
Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory handled the cremation arrangements for the Dorsey “Jerry” McFadden family. A Private Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
