Doris Ann Currey

Doris Ann Currey, 70, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at her residence. She was born on January 22, 1955, in Grafton, WV, daughter of the late Carl and Naomi Dewitt Hershman.

Doris graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1971. She worked as a Nurses Aide at Grafton City Hospital for several years. She loved to sing karaoke and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed feeding wildlife, especially squirrels.

Doris is survived by two daughters, Paula Dunn and spouse Jackie Dunn of Clarksburg, and Julie Currey and fiancé Cameron Elhazz-Jabbar of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Katlyn Ferrell, Meghan Ferrell, Madison Oldaker, Abigail Currey, and Aydan Oldaker; one great-grandson, who is on the way, Grayson Nicholson; one sister, Karen Hedio and spouse Steve of Fairmont; one brother, Keith Hershman of Colorado.

In addition to her parents, Doris preceded in death by her husband, Paul Denzil Currey on October 6, 2024; and one sibling in infancy.
