Donald "Donnie" Ray Todd

Donald “Donnie” Ray Todd, 68, of Lost Creek, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1954 in Clarksburg, son of the late James Howard Sr. and Stella Mae (Givens) Todd.

Donald graduated from Victory High School in 1972 and later retired from AFG Industries after 28 years. He was a member of the Reynoldsville VFD for several years where he was a firefighter, Captain and Chief. He enjoyed working on his vehicle and his yard, playing cards and dice. Donnie devoted his time to his family, friends and his cats. He was never a stranger to anyone and would help out those who were in need.

Donald is survived by four children, Jason Todd and wife Amy of Morgantown, Kathy Todd Stire of Lost Creek, Benjamin James Todd of Clarksburg, and David Hogsten and wife Shannon of Clarksburg; twelve grandchildren, Erin, Lane, Nevaeh, Teylor, Andrew, Antonio, Timothy, Nik, McKenzie, Austin, Eli and Preston; seven great grandchildren, Adalynn, Raylynn, Daisy, Allison, KJ, AJ, Mya; four siblings, Helen and husband Ron Brown of Clarksburg, James Todd Jr and his wife Renee of Reynoldsville, Margaret “Marg” and husband Sonny Vincent of Mt Clare, and Beverly and husband James Elder of Clarksburg; one sister-in-law, Melinda of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife Marcella Todd; one brother Ronald Earl Todd; two nephews, Jeffrey Vincent and Jeremy Scott Todd.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 3:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:00PM with Pastor Bob Marino officiating.
