Donald Lee Ball

Donald Lee Ball, 74, of Anmoore, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Mon General Hospital.  He was born on July 19, 1951, in Buckhannon, the beloved son of the late Ralph Harris Ball and Frances Louise “Dean” Ball.

Donald drove a coal truck for most of his life. He also worked as a machinist, but was a “Jack of all trades”. Donald loved to watch Nascar, he was an avid fan of Jeff Gordan and President Donald Trump. He loved being around his family and friends. Donald’s passion was restoring his Chevy Nova.

Donald is survived by his Children, Deborah Sue Ball of Buckhannon, Carla Carder of Clarksburg, Stacy Ball and Rick Genteel of Clarksburg, Amanda Leggett and David Cordial of Buckhannon, Tammy Hoffer, and husband Paul of Clarksburg; Grandchildren Michael Adams and Aiden Oliver, Aaron Taylor and wife Courtney, Michaela Adams, Abigail Taylor and Beth Swiger, Victoria Adams, Megan Leggett and Jacob Clevenger, Hannah Smith and Sherrill Torain, Andrew Leggett and Brooklyn Jeffers, Colton Ball, Terry Hoffer, Willow Hoffer; Great Grandchildren Bralynn, Jace, Scarlet, Thomas, Oliver, Adrian, Hazel, Cecil Jr., Aries, Charlie, Jaxon, Donovan, Gracelynn, Maddie, Emma, Jacob, Peyton, Avery, Lily, Savonte, Kenneth, Mylo, Dominic, and Noah; Siblings Eleanor Green and husband, Charles, Nancy Green, Patty Ball, Helen Stuart and husband, Bradley, Peggy Stout and husband, Gary, Sandy Barron and Jeff, Becky Varner, Betty Kemp, Michael Ball and wife, Mary; a lot of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife Erma Kay Ball, siblings Robert Ball, Deborah Ruckman, and Karen Cunningham; one son in law, Charles Leggett.
