Delores Marie Myers

Delores Marie Myers, 83 of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at her residence with family by her side. She was born July 26, 1939 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Paul Apostle and Floradell Mollohan Demastus.                                  

Delores worked at Union Protestant Hospital as a dietician until she took time off to raise her family. She retired as the custodian for Bethel Temple after twenty-five years.  She collected porcelain dolls and angels. Delores was very creative and enjoyed decorating and being together as a family.   

Delores is survived by her children, Rodney Lawrence Myers, Jarvisville, Radonna Marie Thompson, Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Amie Moore and Zach, Jessica Hannah and Chris, Robert “Isaac” Myers and Tiffany, Jacob Smith and Brandi, Seth Winters and Haley; eleven great grandchildren, Savannah and Rick, Hailey, Charleigh, Joseph, Zendrick, Scarlett, Liam, Lincoln, Layna, Layton, and Lexton; two great great grandchildren, Emmersyn and Lincoln and one on the way River; four siblings, David Demastus, Akron, OH, Paul “Bud” Demastus and Jean, Sheperdstown, OH, Linda Poling, Clarksburg, Claude Demastus and Debbie, Glen Falls; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin Myers on August 25, 2005; one son, David Franklin Myers in 1970.

Family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr. Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rocky Dodd officiating. Interment will follow at Coplin Cemetery.
