Deirdre "Dee Dee" S. (Blackshire) Hall

Deirdre S. "Dee Dee" Hall, 67, of Clarksburg departed this life on September 29, 2020 after fighting Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years. She leaves behind the love of her life, caretaker, and husband of over 49 years, Donald "Donnie" Hall, Clarksburg; son, Donald S. Hall and companion Jamel Bailey, Clarksburg; daughter, Amanda Hall Crosby and son-in-law Shawn, Bridgeport; five siblings, Winnifred (Tom) Limer, Mike (Betty) Blackshire, David (Patty) Blackshire, Taffy Blackshire, all of Clarksburg, and Suellen (John) Hall, Myrtle Beach SC;  as well as several nieces and nephews that all held a special place in her heart.

Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law; and brother, John Francis Blackshire II.

Dee Dee was a homemaker and an excellent wife and mother. She was a friend to all she met.  She never had a harsh word to say about anybody and did her best to help everybody. Dee Dee loved her family and friends more than anything and was a person people were drawn to.

She was one of seven children born to the late John F. And Verna Blackshire. Dee Dee loved her siblings immensely. She loved the family that she married into, especially her mother and father-in-law, Mary and Ray Hall. She enjoyed working puzzles, playing cards, and listening to music. Dee Dee was as sharp as a tack and had quite the memory recall. She was as tough as they come and fought for many years to stick around for her kids and husband. She never complained about her illness, her symptoms, or quite frankly anything in general. We were blessed to know her, to love her, to be loved by her, and to have had her presence in our lives for as long as we did. Dee Dee will be deeply missed.
