Debra Kovar

Debra Lynn Kovar, 71, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 in Bridgeport.  She was born on May 14, 1954 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Dave Conner and Clara Cash Robinson.

She is survived by two children, Mary Kovar and Joseph Kovar, both of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Gabriella Kovar, Kendra Holt, Haley Knight and Nikoma Knight; great grandchildren, Vivian Holt, Berlin Spino, Cort Bock, Colton Bock, Conner Bock, Noah Knight, Aubrey Knight, Alijah Jones, and Brody Jones; two siblings, Chester Robinson and James Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, JC Robinson, Delana Conner and Mary Nunally and her special chihuahua, Petey.

Debra was a graduate of Victory High School, Class of 1972. She worked for many years as an in-home caregiver and was also employed at ARC, where she dedicated herself to helping others.  She enjoyed drawing, cooking, and had a love for motorcycles. She found joy in taking care of those around her, always putting others before herself.  She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and funny woman who brought comfort and laughter to those who knew her.
