David Allen Harris

On November 17, 2025, the world grew a little quieter as David Allen Harris passed away at his home in Clarksburg, WV. He left this life gently, wrapped in the familiar comfort of the place he knew best.

Born on November 8, 1953, David lived his 72 years with a spirit that was both steady and free. A proud veteran, he carried the strength of his service with him every day—not as a boast, but as a quiet honor woven into the way he moved through the world.

David found his peace outdoors—beneath open skies, in the company of trusted friends, and along the backroads where the hum of a motorcycle felt like freedom. He cherished simple joys: the warmth of laughter, the beauty of nature, and the presence of people who mattered. These were the pieces of life he held closest to his heart.

In his later years, David was cared for with deep compassion by Crystal Webb and her husband Kevin of Family Services of Marion and Harrison County. Crystals kindness and dedication brought comfort, dignity, and companionship to his days, and he was profoundly grateful for her care.

In keeping with David’s personal wishes, he will be cremated.

To those who knew him, David was more than a friend—he was a gentle soul with a generous heart, someone whose absence will be felt in the quiet places he once loved. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with love.
