David Lee Everitt, 51, of Mount Clare, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at United Hospital Center. He was born on November 14, 1973 in Clarksburg, a son of the late William Everitt and Georgia Childers Everitt.
He is survived by three children, David Michael Everitt, Brayden Everitt and Cameron Wagner, and his mother, Patricia Wagner; brothers and sisters Joanne Everitt of Clarksburg, Don Everitt of Clarksburg and Roger Everitt of French Creek; his stepfather, Carl Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David had a true passion for the outdoors and spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and enjoying the natural world. Known for his outgoing personality and quick smile, he never met a stranger and was always the first to lend a hand when someone needed help. Whether it was fixing a broken engine, mending farm equipment, or offering a listening ear, David had a gift for solving problems and making people feel cared for. He especially loved working on four-wheelers and tractors, turning wrenches with a patience and skill that impressed everyone who knew him.
