David Colwell Obituary

David Williams Colwell, 79 of Anmoore passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at his residence with family by his side. He was born July 3, 1942 in Keymar, MD, son of the late Rev Ernest Colwell and Inez Eugenia Williams Colwell.

David was a truck driver for Joey Benson. He enjoyed country and bluegrass music, drinking beer and collecting model cars.

David is survived by his wife, Wanda Lou Wilson Colwell whom he married on March 3, 2003; three children, Geraldine Blair, Smithburg, Sheldon Colwell, MD, Melanie Woodword and companion Jeffrey Payne, Clarksburg; grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Frederiqe Payne, Brittany Hackler; one brother, Ernie Colwell, several nieces and nephews.
