Danny "Dan" Lee Bonnett

Danny “Dan” Lee Bonnett, 81 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at his residence with family by his side. He was born September 6, 1943 in Clarksburg, son of the late Ernest Paul and Carma Lorena Childers Bonnett.

Dan is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy McKinney Bonnett, whom he married on October 14, 1989.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, son, John Wesley Bonnett and children, Taylor and Kyleigh Of Clarksburg, the daughter of his heart, Kelly Jo Estep and spouse Chad and son Cooper of Clarksburg, son, Paul Jason Bonnett and children Tulley and Vlad of New Bern, NC; one brother, Larry Bonnett and spouse Deborah of Clarksburg.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by one brother, David Bonnett.

Dan graduated from Victory High School Class of 1962. He served his country in the United States Army as Sergeant E-5, serving in the Vietnam War. Dan retired from Appalachian Tire as an auto mechanic with 15 years of service. He was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. Dan was a talented craftsman who was able to make whatever his wife Kathy asked, whether it be with wood or metal. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 1:00PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 3:00PM with Reverend Rod Heckert officiating.
