Danny Earle Orsburn

Danny Earle Orsburn, 69, of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Bridgeport.  He was born on November 20, 1956 in Clarksburg, a son of the late Robert Earle Orsburn and Mabalean Alice Smith Orsburn.

He is survived by two children, Alicia Kidd and Danny Earle Orsburn; three grandchildren; two siblings, Penny Lehosit of Stonewood and Darlean Southern of Nutter Fort; nieces and nephews, Brigette Straley, Broklynn Lehosit, Melinda Southern, Jonathan Southern and Travis Southern.

Danny was a 1975 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School and went on to work as a coal mining superintendent, a role he carried out with dedication and quiet strength. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, hunting for ginseng, and golfing. Danny was known for being quiet and determined, yet kind and deeply loyal to those he loved. He especially enjoyed teasing his family members, a trait that brought laughter and warmth to every gathering. He will be remembered for his steady presence, strong work ethic, and the love he showed in his own understated way.
