Daniel Winton Unger

Daniel Winton Unger, 64 of Stonewood passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. He was born November 10, 1958 in Clarksburg, son of the late Douglas Fairbank and Lola Virginia Jeff Unger.

Daniel graduated from W.I. High School. He was an auto mechanic and own and operated Dan’s Auto Repair.  He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, boating and anything outdoors. Daniel was always lending a helping hand.

He is survived by the love of his life, Helen Jean O’Leary Unger who spend thirty-three wonderful years together; one daughter, Rhonda Sue Jones and husband David, Clarksburg, three grandchildren, Kayla Tallman, Jessica Tallman, and Kerry Jenkins; three great grandchildren, Baylee, Xavier, and Ella; one sister, Delores; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by one great grandson, Eli; and one brother, David.  

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 12 Noon -2:00PM.
