Corliss dedicated her working career to serving others as a Teacher’s Aide for the Harrison County School Board. Over her 31 years of faithful service, she touched the lives of countless students, offering patience, kindness, and encouragement to all who knew her.  Corliss was a long-time and devoted member of Christ Episcopal Church in Clarksburg, where her faith was an important part of her daily life. She lived her faith through her actions, showing compassion, love, and grace to those around her.  Our beloved Corliss will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort and peace in knowing she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His love for her has been everlasting, and we give thanks for the promise of eternal life and the time we were blessed to share with her.  Corliss will be sadly and deeply missed by Benny, as well as her children and grandchildren, whom she truly loved and adored with all her heart. Family was the center of her life, and she took great pride and joy in watching her family grow. She never met a stranger and had a natural gift for making others feel welcome, valued, and cared for. Corliss found great joy in volunteering and helping others, always giving of her time with a cheerful and generous spirit.
