Clifford "Cliff" Edward Harper

Clifford “Cliff” Edward Harper, 26, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born on April 7, 1999 in Catawba, NC a Son of Warren “Eddie” Harper, employee of D’Annunzio Bakery, and companion Yvonne Skidmore of Clarksburg and Christina Magalotti “Harper” and boyfriend Bernie Adkins of Clarksburg.

Cliff was a high school graduate who spent years working with quiet strength in a factory—putting in long hours without ever losing his warmth. Beneath the hard work, he had a vibrant spirit. He loved video games, not just for the fun, but for the adventure and escape they offered. He had a deep love for fashion too—his growing collection of shoes and clothing reflected his creativity and confidence. Cliff was naturally curious, always wanting to learn more about the world around him. But more than anything, he was a good-hearted soul—genuine, kind, and always ready with a smile. He brought light into the lives of those around him, simply by being himself.

In addition to his parents, Cliff is survived by his siblings: Whitney Corathers, twin sisters, Kayla Harper and Christina Harper and fiancé Zach Sandy, all of Clarksburg; nieces and nephews: Alek Corathers, Addyson Thompson, Adalaya Lewis, Athan Lewis, Serenity Hargis, Harper Ellison, Jennaleigh Sandy, Celina Sandy, and Matilda Sandy; aunts Dominique Payne, and Melissa Mills (Magalotti), of Clarksburg; uncles Donovan McInturff and wife, Melissa, of Baytown, Texas, Cliff Spring, and wife, Traci Tharp, of Clarksburg, and David Spring of Lost Creek; girlfriend, Ashley Harris, of Clarksburg.

Cliff is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Warren Harper and Judith Harper; maternal grandparents, John Magalotti and Carmella Forte “Kirk”; great-uncle, Charles Ray “Chuck” Kirk.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of Cliff's life will be held on November 1, 2025 at Higher Rock Church in Shinnston, WV., from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.
