Clarence "Bill" Mutschelknaus, Jr. Obituary

Clarence W. “Bill” Mutschelknaus, Jr.

Bill entered eternal peace on October 10, 2020 with his loving wife by his side, following an extended illness.

He was born on June 25, 1966 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Clarence W. “Willie” Mutschelknaus and Mary F. (Davis) Mutschelknaus. Five years later, his little sister Suzanne joined the family and Bill loved and protected her always.

Bill married the love of his life, Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Paugh, on August 3, 1990 and in their love, they raised three children, Dustin, Anthony, and Tabitha.

Since early childhood, Bill could be found working alongside his father, starting at the gas station, and later building the family oil and gas company.

He grew up as a Methodist and later in life he attended Horizons Church. Bill graduated from Salem College with a Bachelor of Science in Business.

Bill will be remembered for his kind and generous heart. He was always willing to help anyone in need, including strangers. He was continually there to offer a helping hand or encouraging word.

Bill had a deep and selfless love for his entire family and enjoyed all his roles – son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. Each and every one of his family members were lovingly adored and treasured, as was his wife Cindy. Cindy took loving care of Bill - especially when he needed her the most - for this his entire family is forever grateful.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Mutschelknaus; three children: Dustin (companion Annette Springer), Anthony and Tabitha Mutschelknaus; grandchildren: Marleigh, Scarlett and Knox Mutschelknaus; loving parents, Clarence W. “Willie” and Mary F. Mutschelknaus; sister, Suzanne Osborne; brother-in-law, Robert Osborne; and nephews, Andrew and Adrian Osborne, whom he adored.

He is also survived by his father-in-law, Bob Paugh; sister-in-law, Kayla Ash (husband, Jody); and brother-in-law, Robert Paugh.

Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert and Helen Davis and James and Helen Mutschelknaus; mother-in-law, Mary Paugh and brother-in-law, Ronnie Paugh.
