Clarence “Paul” Morgan, 61, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Arlington, VA. He was born September 2, 1960 in Grafton, son of the late Sarah Ancell.
Paul is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Nancy Hadox Morgan; two sons, David Kimble, II and companion, Jaci Green of Arlington, VA and Nathaniel Morgan and companion, Breanna Sickbert of Avon, IN; four daughters, Paula Morgan and companion, Chris Elder, Debra McElroy and husband, Ronnie, and Dorothy Hardin, all of Clarksburg, and Jessica Nutt of Stonewood; two brothers, James (Misty) Morgan of Columbus, OH and Randy (Sherry) Morgan of Clarksburg; one sister, Darlene (James) McDougal of Asheville, NC; one sister-in-law, Connie Morgan of Bridgeport; eleven grandchildren, Skylar, Jazzimine, Emma, Teagan, Aiden, Olivia, Jackson, Noah, Gabrielle, Cameron, and Julian; two special little girls in Alrington, VA that also called him “Papaw”, Cheyenne and Skylar; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Paul was also preceded in death by one brother, John Morgan, one sister, Pam Henderson, and brother-in-law Albert Henderson.
Paul enjoyed life to the fullest and always liked when other people would join him. He was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Clarksburg. He worked at Barcroft Apartments in Arlington, VA for over thirty-two years. One of his favorite things to do every year was host a huge 4th of July Fireworks display for the Dawmont Community and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. Anyone who wanted to attend was always welcome. Paul loved his family and his grandchildren were the light of his life. He truly enjoyed being a Papaw, husband, family member, and friend.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM with Reverend Paul Glasspell officiating.
