Christopher "Chris" Stinson Obituary

Christopher Lee Stinson passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Elkins as a result of a house fire along with his fiancé Sara Brady.

Christopher was born in Welch WV on January 29, 1980. He is the son of the late David Obart Stinson of Avondale and Penny Gail Stinson Miller of Conover, NC.

Chris had worked at Subway in Bridgeport and many other restaurants and constructions jobs in Harrison and Randolph County’s. Chris loved and enjoyed playing sports with his brother Cheyenne and cousin Hershel Ray. He enjoyed all outdoors activities but loved the fishing the most and would live on the riverbanks if he could have.   

In addition to his mother, Chris is survived by three children, son Zadist Cheyenne James Stinson, and two daughters Raven LeAnn Hope Stinson, Remington Haven Faith Stinson all of Elkins. WV., One brother David Cheyenne Stinson (Shelia) of Boone NC., Two sister Selena Gray Stinson Blevins (Randall) of Avondale WV., Charlene Renea Stinson Cooper (Anthony) of Rock Ridge WV.  Aunts and Uncles Nancy E. Miller Bissell (David) of Bristol WV., Patricia Miller Pickens (Gary)of Conover NC., Susan Miller Allen Brant Boulanger (Ed), of Clairmont NC. Jack Miller (Nancy) of Avondale, WV. Chris also had several nieces, nephews and cousins.        

In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by His Maternal Grandparents John and Audrey Kiser Miller, Uncle James Flecher Booker Miller Riffe, Precious Miller all of Avondale, WV.; his Paternal Grandparents: Wantus and Lucinda Mullins Stinson of Avondale and several family members including his sister-in-law Linda Rambo Stinson.

There will be a Private Service held on Sunday.
