Christopher "Micah" Allen

Christopher “Micah” Allen, 34, of Lost Creek, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. He was born October 10, 1986 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, the son of James Michael “Mike” and Kelly Joann Shelton-Blevins Allen of Lost Creek.

Micah attended Elkins High School in Elkins, WV. He worked construction and was a talented carpenter.  Micah was a true animal lover. He was an avid skateboarder and loved the skateboarding culture. Micah was excellent with computers and technology. He would try to keep up with the latest developments and trends in the industry. He also enjoyed diving, acrobatics and loved having fun with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Micah is survived by his siblings, Miranda Allen, Jacksonville, FL, Taj Allen, Gainesville, FL, Sarah Bennett and Eric, Good Hope, Josiah Allen, Lost Creek, and Abigail Powell and Jerry, Jane Lew; seven nieces and nephews, Jonas, Veritas, Julian, Sean, Owen, Oliver, Leland; his four legged Golden Doodle companion, Henry; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Micah was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James E Allen and wife Margaret Basford Allen; paternal grandmother, Louretta Johnston Allen; maternal grandfather, Jerry Shelton, maternal grandmother, Lois “Virginia” King Reynolds and husbands, John Blevins and Charles “Chuck” Reynolds.

Family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Horizons Church in Lost Creek, from 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM and Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 PM with Reverend August “Augie” Jordan officiating.
