Charlotte June Reaser, 84, of Salem, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Manchin Assisted Living facility, with the compassionate support of Amedisys Hospice Care in Bridgeport, WV after a brief illness.
Born in Clarksburg, WV, on September 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Opal F. Bumgardner. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her infant brother, Robert Bumgardner.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas L. Reaser Sr. Also left to cherish her memory are her son, Thomas L. Reaser Jr. and his wife, Melissa, as well as her granddaughter, Amelia Reaser, all of Salem, WV.
Charlotte graduated from Victory High School in 1958 and went on to earn a degree from WV Business College. She had a successful career at Pittsburgh Plate Glass before dedicating herself to homemaking. Charlotte enjoyed working with her show horses and cattle, as well as caring for her beloved cats.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Michael Angotti, the management and staff of Manchin Assisted Living, and Amedisys Hospice for their exceptional care during her final days.
