Charles “Bunk” Phillip Ashcraft Jr.

Charles “Bunk” Phillip Ashcraft, Jr., 60, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at United Hospital Center. He was born on March 5, 1963, in Clarksburg, son of the late Charles Phillip Ashcraft Sr and Barbara Rose Dodd.

Bunk was a carpenter. He enjoyed doing woodworking, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his friends and family. As an organ donor, his last wish was to give the gift of life so he could help others live life to their fullest.

Bunk is survived by his three children Julie Ashcraft, Clarksburg, Charles “Tyler” Ashcraft, Clarksburg, Cody Ashcraft, Weston; two grandchildren, Kamron Ashcraft and Croix Ashcraft; four siblings, Barbara Rose Wamsley, Clarksburg, Edward “Eddie” Harris, Lumberport, Johnny “John” Shannon Caton, Clarksburg and Rebecca Ann Hyde, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 3:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm with Pastor Sherman Goodwin officiating.
