Charles Franklin Ware, Sr.

Charles Franklin Ware, Sr., 59, of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at United Hospital Center. He was born on May 30, 1961 to the late Charles Edward and Ruth Marie Ash Ware in Michigan.

Charles was employed at Charlie’s Tree Service and Asplundh Tree Service as a tree climber for over twenty years. Charles was very passionate about the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed spending time with loved ones.

Charles is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rosalie Ann Ware, Clarksburg; son Charles Franklin Ware, Jr and Ann, TX; daughter Carla May Ware, Fairmont; step daughter Pamela Schlichting and fiancé Teddy Demastus; grandchildren, Marcus, Justin, and Alyssa Losh, Brooklyn Shaffer; two great-grandchildren, Kaleigha Shaffer, Octavia Losh; sisters, Anna Martin, Salem, Joyce Jones and Donnie, Hepzibah; brothers, Gene Chips and Charlene, Hepzibah, Alvin Ware, Shinnston; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one step-son, Eric Troy Schlichting.
