Charles Abel Obituary

Charles Edward Abel, 78 of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility. He was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on July 13, 1946 the son of the late Morris and Helen Heiberger Abel.

Charles served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a computer programmer for 33 years.

Charles is survived by two grandsons, Casimir J Ditkosky and Nicholas M Ditkosky; one great granddaughter, Alejandra M Ditkosky; one brother, David Abel; two sisters, Maureen Becker and Christina Lofstead; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie L Abel-Ditkosky.
