Cecelia "Cee Cee" Ann Bowyer

Cecelia Ann Bowyer “Cee Cee”, 84, of Lost Creek WV, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Morgantown Healthcare Center.  She was born on December 27, 1940 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Russell Peter Pollace and Elizabeth Victoria Biafore Tognocchi.

She is survived by five children, Matt Bowyer (wife Lisa) of Isaac Creek, Edwin Bowyer of Morgantown WV, Zoe Ann Woodard (husband Bob) of Isaac Creek WV, Leticia Hyler (husband Don) of Harpers Ferry WV, Royce Strauss (wife Cindy) of Clarksburg WV, one brother, Arthur Pollace (wife Barb) of Buffalo Lake, WV; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren;  several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Bowyer, sisters, Patricia Pollace Kotrady, Linda Louise Webb and Baby Jane Pollace, her stepfather Alfred Tognocchi and her stepmother Belle Frances Pollace

Cecelia graduated from Unidis High School in West Milford, WV. Cecelia was employed by Anchor Hocking Glass in the office, upon retirement she was employed by Lowe’s Clarksburg, in the garden center.  She enjoyed bargain shopping, gardening, making homemade arts and crafts, spending time with her grandchildren, and loved to cook her delicious Italian wedding soup, meatballs and sauce, and galettes for the family every holiday season.
