Carolyn Sue (Hollandsworth) Stier

Carolyn Sue Stier, 55 of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at River Oaks Nursing Home.  She was born June 7, 1962 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Cecil D Hollandsworth and Lucille Jane Marks Hollandsworth of Clarksburg.  Carolyn was a homemaker and loved collecting angels, music, watching TV, movies, and crocheting Afghans. She was a member of the Full Gospel Mission Church, P.K. Addition, Clarksburg. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John Denver Stier of twenty nine years; three children, William Morgan Echard II, Huttonsville, WV; Kevin Andrew Echard, Clarksburg and Wendy Denise Freeman and husband Matthew, Shinnston; five grandchildren, Noah, Taryn, Kaylee, Darby, and Payge; three sisters, Beverly A Zickefoose and husband David, Carla J Townley, Sherry L Rowan and husband David, all of Clarksburg; one brother, Cecil L Hollandsworth, Sr, Clarksburg, several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Ann Echard; one granddaughter, Emily Marie Echard.  Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm; Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chad Hutson, presiding.
