Carolyn Smith Obituary

Carolyn Jean Smith, 71, of Philippi, passed away at her residence on Friday, September 6, 2024. She was born on September 1, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Alton and Genevieve McFarland Chaney.

Carolyn loved going to casinos, dancing and Karaoke, she was a very talented singer and loved to share her talent, she also loved to travel aboard a cruise ship, and most importantly, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her companion David Daughtery; two children, Tammy Lowery of Philippi, Wv and Jason Smith of Linderhurst, NY; grandchildren, Corey Lowery, Derek Wichmann, Lidia Smith, Neverly Smith and Jason Smith, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
