Carolyn Skinner Obituary

Carolyn Rae Skinner, 82, of Weston passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Crestview Manor. She was born on March 28, 1942, in Weston, WV, daughter of the late William Jennings Bryan and Delma Ruth Skeens Hardman.

Carolyn Graduated from Weston High School. She retired at Lewis County Board of Education as a Custodian for over 32 years. She was a Christian by Faith and loved going to church. She enjoyed walking, exercising and being outdoors.

Carolyn is survived by two children, Cindi Spino of Morgantown and Willis Patrick Smith of Indiana; two grandchildren, Bryan “Cole” Burkhammer of Weston and John “Johnny” James Spino II of Morgantown; one great grandchild, Bryan “Colton” Burkhammer of Summersville; two siblings, Julia “Jan” Ann Long of Weston and Marilyn Kay McCue of Horner, WV; Special friend and caregiver, Catherine Wilfong.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death one brother, Bryan Mitchell “Mickey” Hardman.
