Carolyn Jean (Lehosit) Robinson Kovach

Carolyn Lehosit Robinson Kovach, 90, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at United Hospital Center.  She was born December 9, 1928; a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Helen Saliga Lehosit.       

Carolyn is survived by her three daughters, Nancy and Craig Walker of Morgantown,  Susan and Jeff Greaser of Fairmont, Rebecca Schmid of Zurich, Switzerland; one son, Michael and Lea Robinson of Crozet, VA; eleven grandchildren, Jessica Kwiatkowski, Daniel Walker, Samuel Walker, Sarah Castano, Thomas Robinson, Richard Robinson, Carter Brown, Amelia Robinson, Grace Schmid, James Schmid, and Noah Schmid; five great grandchildren, Christian, Carolina, Sullivan, Rosie, and Julian; one brother, Emory Lehosit of Flemington; three sisters, Pauline Yurko of Walton Hills, OH, Mary Doyle of Bridgeport and JoAnn Bodkin of Sylvania, OH; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Nelson Robinson on February 23, 1987; second husband, Andrew “Andy” George Kovach on February 6, 2018; four brothers, Charles Lehosit, James Lehosit, Michael Lehosit, and John Lehosit; one sister, Ann Marie Lehosit, one sister-in-law, Darlene Lehosit, and three brothers-in-law, Dick Yurko, Max Bodkin, and James Doyle; special niece, Stephanie Doyle.

        Carolyn was a proud graduate of RW High School. She was born and raised in the Holy Rosary Church, previous member of Christ Episcopal Church where she raised her family and was currently a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and loved to sing in the choir and host choir parties. She was a member of Clarksburg League for Service, where she served as past president. Carolyn was secretary of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She worked as a secretary for Robinson and Stump Attorneys and Steptoe and Johnson.  Later in life she worked for Urso Insurance, Chesterfield Energy which became Dominion Energy.  Carolyn was charming, cheerful and a joy to all who knew her and will be missed. She played cards and bridge and enjoyed gaming.    

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 3-8PM where a vigil service will be held at 7:30pm. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00AM until time of The Funeral Liturgy at 1:00PM with Father D. Kent Durig as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery.
