Carolyn S. Browning

Carolyn Sue Browning 67, of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday April 28, 2020 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.  She was born on June 16, 1952, the daughter of the late Charley and Elsie Virginia Phares Browning. Ms. Browning was well known for talking to everyone like they had been long time friends-even if they just met. She was a kind hearted soul who knew no stranger. Surviving are several broken hearted friends and family members, who wish they had just one more day with her. She is survived by her half-brother, Charles “Edgar” Browning, Orlando, FL; her devoted companion, Bernard Ferrell, Bridgeport. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Kay Browning Deen; two half-brothers, George Edward and Karl Everett Browning.

Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation and arrangements for the Browning Family. Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301 on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, with a small service at 3:00PM with Pastor Tom Horne officiating.
