Carol Sue (Davis) Nutter

Carol Sue Nutter, 78, of Clarksburg passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born January 16, 1942, in Reynoldsville, WV, the daughter of the late Hazel W and Helen Snyder Davis.

Carol graduated from Victory High School, Class of 1959.  She previously worked at Brockway, then Anchor Hocking until it closed. Then she retired from Walmart. She loved spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Linda Christine “Chris” Nutter and Jimmy Anderson, Melissa Rae Nutter; two grandchildren, Gerrit Dodd  Kathryn Bass all of Clarksburg; one great grandson, Amias Trace Aaron Miller; birth mother to Deirdre M Flowers, Wilmington, NC and her children, Maya and Ella Flowers; two sisters, Linda Atkins and Curtis, Valley City, OH, Shirley “Dee Dee” Robey, Chatham, OH: several nieces and nephews.   

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Catherine Griffith and husband William “Bill” and brother-in-law, Harold Robey.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 3:00PM until time of Funeral Service at 7:00PM with proper distancing and face mask preferred.
