Carmelita "Susie" Angela Workman

Carmelita “Susie” Angela Workman, 62, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 12, 1962, to the late Albert Gutierrez and Mary Ellen Workman Watkins.

Susie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Albert Lynn Workman, and her three siblings, Tommy Lee Gutierrez, Rosemary “Rose” Gutierrez, and Sharon Cokley.

She leaves behind her cherished children, daughter Mary Ellen Workman and wife Stephanie Furner, and son Ritchie Lee Workman. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Lee “Buck” Gutierrez and wife Sue Murphy, several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A loving homemaker, Susie took great joy in creating a warm, welcoming home for her beloved family. She had a deep love for simple pleasures, including cooking, collecting angels, working on jigsaw puzzles, completing word searches, playing cards, coloring, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones. Her kind spirit will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.
