Brenda Jean Reaser

Brenda Jean Reaser, 77, of Clarksburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Born on November 1, 1948, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Brenda was the beloved daughter of the late William B. and Mamie Miller Williams.

Brenda’s greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her cherished children: David Reaser (Charlotte) of North East, Maryland, William “Danny” Reaser (Jamie) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Mary Beth Reaser of Clarksburg. She was a proud and loving grandmother to six grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her heart. She is also survived by her siblings: Fern Nichols of Salem, Delores Titus (Ashby) of Jane Lew, Judy Sandy of Port Orange, Florida, Mike Williams of Morgantown, and John Williams of Reynoldsville, along with several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Lee Reaser, Jr., and her siblings: James Williams, William Williams, Jr., and Sandra Woomer.

Brenda was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1966. She dedicated 25 years of service to the United Summit Center before retiring. A woman of strong Christian faith, Brenda loved the Lord deeply and lived her life with quiet strength and kindness. She found joy in the simple pleasures—reading, working crossword puzzles, and watching classic television, but above all, she treasured time spent with her family. Nothing meant more to her than those she loved.

In honoring Brenda’s wishes, she will be cremated. Though she has left this world, her love, warmth, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Interment will take place at the West Virginia National Cemetery at a later date.
