Obituary
Brenda Joyce (Cook) Duckworth, 75, of Worthington passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at home with her loving family surrounding her. She was born on March 31, 1947 in Fairmont, daughter of late Robert Tilden Cook and Genevieve Grace (Yeager) Cook.
Brenda loved playing video lottery games, enjoyed bowling and playing BINGO. The most important thing was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by three children, Thomas Allen and wife Shari Duckworth of Worthington, WV, Cody Ray Duckworth of Worthington, WV, Aimee Leah Hines and husband Michael of Worthington, WV; two siblings, Sharon “Cookie” Smith and husband Bob of Colfax CA, and Ronald Cook of Missouri; five grandchildren, Chase, Blaine, Kenadie Duckworth, Jesse Clayton, and Kelly Jo Hamilton; five great grandchildren, Madison, Patrick, Kellyn Clayton, Baylee, and Dillon Hamilton.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Elton Allen Duckworth; three siblings Eugene Cook, Robert T Cook II, and Barbara Lish.
