Brenda Faye Curry

Brenda Faye Curry, 56, of Buckhannon, formerly of Deckerville, MI, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Kenny and Ida White Curry.

Brenda loved to shop, read magazines and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her dog, precious.

Brenda is survived by her companion, Martin Potter of Deckerville, MI; children, Kendra Gibson and husband Camden Gibson of Buckhannon, Ida Skeens and companion Drew Paugh of  Charleston, Brianna Muma and Fiancé Jeremiah Newton of Elkview, WV, Bethany Lane of Buckhannon, formally of Deckerville, MI,  Karen Powell and husband Jesse, Savannah Muma, and Alayna Muma, all of Deckerville, MI; grandchildren, Raelynn Faye Gibson, Jonah Benjamin Newton, Aliannah Rae Cracchiolo, Kinslee Marie Powell, Easton Alan Powell, and Aubriella Austin Powell; siblings, Chris and Lonnie Boyes of CO , Beverly and David Maynard of KY, and Kenny and Krystal Curry of Matewan, WV; Lifelong best friend, Jerry Muma of Deckerville, MI; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by one uncle, John White.

Per Brenda’s wishes, she will be cremated.
