Brandi Duryea Elliott, 42, of Clarksburg, passed away far too soon on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 6, 1983, in Clarksburg, she was the beloved daughter of Linda Lee Harbert Elliott Sprouse and Robert Sprouse, and the late Lloyd Trenton Elliott II.
Brandi was the kind of person who never stopped working for the people she loved. For the last four years, she dedicated herself to her job at AMBS Medical Coding, always giving her best and carrying the weight of responsibility with strength and determination. She was a true hard worker — the kind of woman who put family first in everything she did.
Outside of work, Brandi found joy in life’s simple moments and the outdoors she loved so much. Whether it was trips to the beach, camping at Bulltown, weekends at Holly River, boating, hiking, family picnics, or preparing big holiday dinners, she made memories that her family will treasure forever. She also loved online shopping, especially for purses, wallets, and shoes — something that always brought a smile to her face.
More than anything, Brandi loved her family deeply. She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories with her companion, Jon Darby of Charleston; her children, Dustin Lee Elliott and fiancée Shyan Rose McKnight, Gabryella Duryea Forman and fiancé Jacob Swentzel, Izzabella Jo Forman, and Harlee Lynn Darby and companion Logan Cable. She was a proud grandmother to Waylon Lee Elliott, with another grandchild on the way — a blessing she was so excited for.
She is also survived by her mother and stepfather; her siblings, Butchie Elliott (Kassi), John Elliott (Julie), Marc Elliott (Kristy), Rhonda Lyon, and Denise Forman; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who loved her dearly.
Brandi was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Trenton Elliott II; her infant brother, Charles Elliott; her maternal grandparents, Willard Lee and Evelina Duryea Smith Harbert; her paternal grandparents, Lloyd Trenton and Madge Marie Dennison Elliott; and sister-in-law, Amie Elliott.
Brandi’s passing leaves a void that words cannot fill. She was taken much too soon, leaving behind broken hearts and cherished memories that will live on forever in those who knew and loved her. Her strength, laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.
Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Don Knotts officiating.
