Bradford “Brad” Oressie VanHorn

Bradford “Brad” Oressie VanHorn, 67 of Lost Creek, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the United Hospital Center. He was born June 7, 1957, in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Bernard Oressie and Mildred Louise Runyon VanHorn.

Brad graduated from South Harrison High School. He was a carpenter for over 20 years and owned American Builders. He also was animal control in Harrison County for 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He was in the Dart league for several years taking first place with his team.  

Brad is survived by his two sons, Joshua B VanHorn, Lost Creek, and Daniel Hayhurst, Weston; three grandchildren, Dylan Hayhurst, Mason and Haven Henderson; three siblings, Sharon Willie and Perry, David D VanHorn, Robert L VanHorn and Sandra, all of Lost Creek; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2:00PM-4:00PM.
