Obituary
Belva Jane Posey, 71, of Weston, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Weston. She was born on June 1, 1951 in Camden, a daughter of the late George Calvin Rogers and Louise A. Messenger Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Posey, who passed away on September 8, 2015.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Beth Moore of Weston and Janice Trader and her husband Michael also of Weston; grandchildren, Emilea Smith and her husband Michael and Scott Goldsmith and his partner Taylor Kuno; and two very special great grandsons who are on the way; two sisters, Carrie Opal Lockhart and her husband Bob and Betty Sue Srout and her husband Larry.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Louella Clem, Betty Shepherd, Ann Jamison, George Clayton Rogers and Denver Rogers.
Belva enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, reading her daily devotional and working puzzles. She also loved spending time with her fur babies, Toby and Tyg.
