Barbara Pitcock Obituary

Barbara Ann Pitcock, 68 of Bridgeport, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at United Hospital Center. She was born June 11, 1953 in Saint Michaels, MD, daughter of the late John Franklin Pitcock Sr and Betty Jane Gochnauer Pitcock

Barbara retired in 2007 from Baltimore Public County Schools, where she taught English and Drama for more than thirty years. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, camping, reading, and traveling. She traveled to more than 31 countries and all 50 states. Barbara loved her students, the theatre, her friends, family, and her cats.

Barbara is survived by one brother, John Pitcock and wife Diane, New Milton, WV; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made on www.DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Pitcock family.
