Barbara Davis Obituary

Barbara Ann Boring Davis, 80 of Bridgeport passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains, OH. She was born October 26, 1940 in Salem, WV, daughter of the late Harry and Ruby Merritt Boring.

Barbara graduated from Doddridge County High School. She worked as a personnel manager with Walmart in Wilmington, NC. Her hobbies were crocheting, gardening, cooking, sewing and working in the yard.

Barbara is survived by one son, William Glenn Davis and Jodi, Wilmington, NC; two granddaughters, Kaitlin Davis and Sarah Davis; two sisters, Cynthia Sue Johnston, Orlando, FL and Linda Davis, Bridgeport, WV; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William J Davis; four brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, Larry and Jack Boring; one sister in infancy, Martha Boring.
