Arthur “Bud” Faesenmeier Jr, 81, of Stonewood, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on February 6, 1943 in Jimtown, a son of the late Arthur Benjamin Faesenmeier Sr and Freda Tressie Harlan Faesenmeier.
Bud graduated from Belington High School. He worked as a carpenter his entire life. He was a member of Clarksburg First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed listening to Gospel Music, reading his bible and watching Westerns. He loved his family and his cats, Tiger and Smokey and his French Bulldog Archie that has passed.
He is survived by his wife Sarah Lee Claypool Faesenmeier whom he married on May 15, 1965; one son, Arthur “Ben” Faesenmeier III, Stonewood and companion, Janet Myers; like grandchildren, Sierra Shumate and her child, Lakota and Travis Sprouse; siblings, George Faesenmeier, Moundsville, Teresa Evans, Belington, Minnie Holsberry, (Gene), Montrose; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Lou Bibey, Emil Faesenmeier, Mary Margaret Wilson, Anna Mae Phillips, and Gertrude Louise Bennett.
