Frank Joseph Chiado

Frank Joseph Chiado, age 83 of Clarksburg WV, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1934 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Joseph Chiodo and Angelina (Billotta) Chiodo.

Frank is survived by three children, Yvonne Childers of Bridgeport, WV, Joseph Chiado of Clarksburg, WV and Angela Cross & her husband, Brian of Clarksburg, WV; four grandchildren, Chase Cross, Courtney Childers, D.J. Hinkle and Janelle Vanfossen; seven great grandchildren, Lilly Childers, Miles Cross, Logan Vanfossen, Landon Vanfossen, Lucas Vanfossen, Dorothy Hinkle and Lucy Hinkle; six sisters, Katie Chiado of Clarksburg, WV, Flora Plevich of Hepzibah, WV, Josephine Olivio of Bridgeport, WV, Judy Stevens & her husband, Greg of Charlestown, WV; Mary Graves &her husband, Bud of Hagerstown, Maryland and Angela Rose Suchs of Ohio; a brother-in-law, John Folio of Nutter Fort, WV.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Folio; a brother, Rocky Chiado.

Frank worked 20 years for Lockheed Martin Company. He devoted his life to his family and had an amazing faith in God. Frank loved to watch baseball and football. You could find him at Minards Spaghetti Inn for his favorite dish of pasta. He loved enjoying coffee every morning with his family and he always said to be the best that you can be.

The family requests that all services will be private on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 with Pastor Tom Horne, presiding. Interment will follow at Stonewall Park Cemetery, military honors will be accorded by Harrison County Honor Guard.
