William "Bill" Harry Trimbach

William “Bill” Harry Trimbach, 88 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born July 31, 1930 in Camden, NJ, the son of the late William G and Dorothy M Shlam Trimbach.

Bill graduated high school in 1948 and served his country in the United States Air Force from 1949-1969. He also retired from Adolph Coors in Golden, CO.  He was very athletic playing many sports and officiating little league, high school football, basketball and baseball. Bill was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Clarksburg VFW Post 573, American Legion Post 13, and Elks Lodge #2154 in Payson, AZ.  His hobbies were bowling and golf. He volunteered at UHC and the VA Hospital.                                  

 William is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Dolores Ruth Megill Trimbach; four children, Paul Allen Trimbach, Tempe, AZ, Thomas William Trimbach of Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia Ann Harty and Michael, Clarksburg, and Sandra Jeanne Cutler and Donald, Wallace; seven grandchildren, Michelle and Eddie, Kristina and Rob, Jennifer and Mike, Tabitha and Jason, Daniel and Steph, Susan and Mario, and Miranda and Cody; nineteen great grandchildren, Morgan, Jared, Jacob, Colter, Marie, Kaiya, Lily, Emily, Tyler, Declan, Bradley, Raylan, Elegance, Alec, Xander, Isabella, Serenity, Michael, and Keely; and several cousins. 

 A graveside service will be held at WV National Cemetery on Friday February 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm where full military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and US Air Force. A celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday February 16, 2019 at the Christ Episcopal Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Nora Becker officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
