William "Billy" Bennett

William “Billy” Bennett, 67, of Lost Creek passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at his residence with family by his side. He was born September 12, 1952 in Lost Creek, WV; the son of the late Bernard Dayton “Radio” and Dora Jeanne Quinn Bennett. He married Pam Bennett on January 14, 1977 who survives.

Billy was currently working at Alfred Construction as an equipment operator for over thirty five years.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, mowing grass and loved spoiling the grandchildren.   

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by his two children, William “Billy” C Bennett and Loni Renee Bennett Smithson and husband Jeff, all of Lost Creek; six grandchildren, Austin R Glaspell and wife Kait, Kaden M Ryan, Emma F Baker, Tristin Q Bennett, Claire R Justice, and Jency L Ryan; three siblings, Bernard Dayton Bennett II, Rebecca Ann Vanhorn and husband Ray, Jeannie D. McCormick and husband Tom; sister-in-law, Kathy Bennett; father-in-law, Lonnie Bennett and wife Andrea, all of Lost creek; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Barry L Bennett and Bruce L Bennett.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Interment will follow at 7th Day Baptist Church Cemetery.
