Thelma O "Pug" (Skinner) Walters

Thelma O “Pug” Walters, 93 of Clarksburg, passed away on July 11, 2019, at River Oaks Nursing Home. She was born January 24, 1926 in Clarksburg; the daughter of the late Austin and Carrie Barnes Skinner.

Thelma worked at Seton Nursing Home as a CNA.  Her hobbies were collecting jewelry, shopping, doing makeup and nails, flowers and gardening.  Thelma collected anything and everything she could get her hands on.

Thelma is survived by two sons, Ronald Wayne Wolfe, Clarksburg, Clarence Allan Miller and Susie, Ocean View, DE; siblings, Patty Huff and Jim, Clarksburg, Shirley Rosenthal, Clarksburg, Theodore “Mike” Skinner and Linda, Clayton, NC, Zola Drummond and Jack, Bridgeport; Mary Deveney, Elkins; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley C Walters; siblings, Madge Dembroski, May Billings, Jack Skinner, William Skinner, Lloyd Barnes, Austin Skinner and Bobby Skinner. 

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1-5PM; Funeral Services will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00AM with Pastor DJ Hoff presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
