Susan Darlene (Gorby) McClure

Susan Darlene McClure, 58 of Fairmont passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019.  She was born on October 2, 1960 in Fairmont daughter of Clark Vincent and Nancy Lee Hayes Gorby of Mannington. 

Susan graduated from Mannington High School and was a Golden Horseshoe recipient. She received her Bachelors from Fairmont State and was in the Delta Zeta Sorority. She was a medical lab technologist for LabCorp. She collected figurines and hobbies were reading, movies, trips to Disney, and she was a space enthusiast.  

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three children, Andrew McClure and Brittany, Wilson, NC, Alexa West and Zack, Milton, FL, and Colin McClure, Fairmont; three grandchildren, Liam, Wednesday and Kaine; one sister, Diane Cline and Buddy, Fairmont; nieces and nephews, Amber Gorby, Colby and Josh Cline, Chad and Melanie and Haley McClure and Lori Laxton. 

She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher McClure.

A celebration of her life will be at Copper House Grill on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 3:00pm.
