On December 1, 2017, Shirley Belle Oldaker went home to be with the Lord. Born June 8, 1944, Shirley Belle lived a full, beautiful life and is survived by three children and several grandchildren. Her eldest son, James McDaniel, an Air Force veteran of Clarksburg, and his lovely wife, Pamela have two children, Jimmy and Melissa. Jimmy and his wife Sarah have one child, James Michael and another expected in January. Melissa and her husband, Connor, have one son, Thomas Amadeus (Ami). Middle son, Donald and his partner Kelly reside in East View. Donald has two children Ashley and Breeanna. Ashley has one child, Annalise. Shirley’s youngest is her daughter, Robyn (Messenger) Stafford who resides in Chesapeake, Ohio with her husband, Jeremiah, and two bonus children, Alyssa and Jeremiah Jr. Shirley Belle is preceded in death by her father John and a brother John “Uncle Hippie” Eakle. The family remarks, “She was sassy and full of life, a second mom to many of our friends, and was quick to open her home and to help where she could.”
At this time, the family asks you enjoy a fond memory of their mother and grandmother as, per her request, there are no services planned.
