Shirley Jean (Wright) Morton

Shirley Jean (Wright) Morton, age 82 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born July 11, 1935 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late David Hickman Wright and Bessie (Philips) Wright.

Shirley is survived by a granddaughter, Janae L. Morton of Mechanicsville, VA; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Haymond Morton; and a son, Mark Ernest Morton.

Shirley was a homemaker and was a member of the Jehovah Witness.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor D.J. Hoff, presiding. Interment will follow at Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
